25 Days of Christmas Day 19: Making Snowflakes

Started off making plan ole snowflakes out of paper... then I went to Pintrest! Hello, why didn't I do this long ago?? Coffee Filters!! SO EASY & FUN!! We made them last night & even more this morning!

 This morning, still making snowflakes!

25 Days of Christmas Day 18 - Sing Happy Birthday to Mawmaw!

December 18th is Mawmaw's birthday! Since she doesn't live nearby, the kids sang & we sent it to her! This was at the end of the day, but we had to make sure she got a birthday song!

25 Days of Christmas Day 17: Make Family Tree with Pictures

Just a fun little tree kit that the kids got to paint with ornaments. I helped print pictures & glue the ornaments together! Found it on sale last year after Christmas! Another fun memory we will enjoy looking at & decorating with every year!

There are so many that have lost a family member or friend this Christmas Season,  this poem was given to a Mom's group I'm in. Why not pass it on!! It is so true!

25 Days of Christmas Day 14: Prestonwood Baptist Church - The Gift of Christmas

 Before children we went to this performance every year. Now, 8 years later, we are back! It was WONDERFUL! It is worth is to make a trip to Plano, TX for it! Tickets sell out fast. We were in the very very back. Next year, I will mark my calendar for closer seats! Get a look at the pics below.

25 Days of Christmas Day 13: Delivering Angel Tree Gifts & McKinney Christmas Parade!

Car loaded up to deliver Angel Tree gifts! The kids LOVE doing this!

 If you haven't been to the square in McKinney, GO! It is a fun place to eat & shop or just window shop!

25 Days of Christmas Day 12: Peppermint Christmas Ornaments

This is the ONLY one that survived! Neat idea, but kind of hard. Unless you have cookie cutters that are completely flat, they ooze out & they need to be broken off before it cools, but not while it is so hot! So, not really the best project for kids, but we tried!

25 Days of Christmas Day 10 & 11: Making Christmas Cards for Great Grandfather & Making Gingerbread Houses

Day 10, I didn't take any pictures, but the kids made Christmas Cards for their Great Grandfather, Daddy Money. He is living in a nursing home & I knew this would be a great surprise for him. 

Day 11: Making Gingerbread Houses! These came as a set of 4 (village) Everyone got to have a friend join them for the fun! Also, a great way to move the Halloween candy OUT! Lots of fun  memories made today.

We all know the USPS works extra hard during the Christmas Season, so we thought we would surprise our Mail Lady with a Christmas Snack  & Kate wrote a Thank You note for her services! Simple, fun surprise for someone else. :)
