Lighthouse Playground!

While we are here I think we will go to all surrounding area playgrounds. This is one of our easy go to favorites. I call it the lighthouse playground. Easy parking by the train, great view of the sea, always a plus that the playground is fenced in!

 Fun pic at home.
Check out the bike! He has a baby carrier seat on the front & back!! LOTS of people ride their bikes to work or walk around here.
 Birthday party with friends,
Check out the "water" slide, it goes STRAIGHT DOWN!
Clodagh's Kitchen is in Blackrock, quite yummy. I have found that most places here give children drinks in glass glasses with no lid. They have come a long way by not spilling as much as they did at home!

This little ride on area is a must for H. She loves to climb on all of the rides before we go grocery shopping. (even if we don't actually pay to "ride" the toys) ;)

Adjusting to Dublin & the Dublin Zoo

First things first, must go buy groceries! Wait a minute, Umm, the wrong side of the rode on the wrong side of the car! This should be interesting! The car is SO SMALL too! Daddy was able to drive easily, and we are now comfortable with the size of our car. :)

 Parking garage to grocery store.
 Mall lunch/dinner!
 Ice cream snack at Rainbows!
Dublin zoo! I think we will take these monkeys with us!

We are OFF to IRELAND!

Now, if I can keep up, this blog will be turning towards our adventures in Ireland! We have been here since May 1st! Just a few of our pictures from our adventure of just leaving! This is the first flight EVER for the kids. So why not make it a big one & fly international to London! - Just an 8 hr flight!
Kids did great, H did get upset the last 2 hrs since she couldn't stretch out to sleep. We did take her carseat & I think that helped her stay seated much longer than flying without it.

On the bus/van, on our way to the airport! H wasn't sure about the driver, the others were a little excited! LOL

Bag check in. I think we had 8 to check, plus we all had 2 carry ons! Plus a stroller!

Kids first security walk through.

We had a plane delay, so we got to wait for 5 hrs at the airport. 1st stop, TGIF for lunch!

Finally on the plane, they were thrilled to have their own TV screens. Too many movies to choose from! (Not a bad problem to have!) We put H in her carseat, she is 2 1/2 & for such a long flight, I think it was totally worth it! We checked it on the short flight from London to Dublin. She wanted to unbuckle the entire time! The airline does have chest straps that they will add to the seatbelt if the child is younger.

2 yr old entertainment:
Coloring books, window gel cling decorations, LOTS OF STICKERS, play doh, since this flight we have done a few short trips. Honestly, iPad is the best entertainment!
